About Pleer

Pleer was formed in 2003 by Alex Moss, as he developed and designed websites for small businesses. Now a partnership, Pleer has extended itself to include SEO, online marketing, social media and WordPress development for businesses worldwide.

Alex Moss


Alex Moss has been working with HTML since he was 13. His skills, which stem originally from self-taught design and development, have now evolved into a wide range of knowledge on SEO. After receiving his degree in Law and IT in 2006, Alex took an interest in SEO and began working as an independent consultant, immersing himself in all aspects of SEO. He particularly enjoys onsite optimisation, auditing and WordPress SEO, design and plugin development.

His WordPress plugins include Facebook Comments and Twitter Feed. He also contributes to the SEO community by writing occasional guest blogs for sites such as Econsultancy. He was one of 14 search marketing specialists to contribute towards Econsultancy’s SEO Best Practice Guide. He has also passed the Google Analytics IQ Certification, vital when understanding elements of CRO.

Anna Moss


Anna works with a variety of businesses, providing them with a bespoke online marketing services. Having completed a BA degree in Law and IT she went on to work as a successful commercial property solicitor after graduating from university.

After 3 years, Anna decided to change her professional path and a role was created for her at a leading SEO and web design agency in Manchester city centre before becoming a partner at Pleer. Anna specialises in content writing and social media and has written for numerous legal blogs.
